Senior Public Health Manager
Full-time position available with the Health Department, Administration Division located at 2400 Troost Ave
Salary Range: $7,268-$10,902/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m., telework available

Enhances/supports the health of the organization's culture and the well-being of its people by designing, leading, and implementing/facilitating strategies that close the gaps between the agency's people/culture expectations and its reality. Helps set strategic direction (culture, policy and/or business direction) through consultation or facilitation as requested. Understands the health of the organization and the well-being of its people using qualitative and quantitative data. Requires the ability to fully commit to the proposed outcomes and activities of the KCHD project.
REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in organizational development, human services, psychology, social work, public administration or a related field and considerable experience of a progressively responsible nature in the management of employment and training programs; OR a minimum of 7 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference given to those with Workforce/Organizational Development experience.

All positions require successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check. Non-residents, if appointed, must establish residency within the city limits of Kansas City, MO within nine months.
